Have you noticed that love is ever present?
It may not be the romantic soul-wrenching love of the cinema wrapped in the embrace of a perfect kiss; but one variety or another of love parades before each of us daily.
Recently, I recognized it as the kindness exhibited during an encounter between an elderly woman struggling up the walk to the post office and a stranger offering to take the letter those final steps. At times we call it “compassion” or “empathy” or “altruism,” but it seems to me that the seed of all those things is love.
What are your thoughts? Do you see the love around you?
